2012 saw the birth of the St Catherine’s Sailing Club Petanque Team – with May nearly upon us it is time to dust off those boules and start playing again!.

If you want to have a shot at petanque; gather at the Weighbridge on a Wednesday evening after work,
all ages are welcome and simple instructions will be given if you have never played previously.

Do feel free to join us – boules will be provided.

Weather permitting see you 5.30 pm, Wednesdaay 1st May at the Weighbridge!

Gorey regatta will be run on 1-2 June and the great news is that their will be a Hog Roast on Saturday at Les Pres Manor for all competitors.  Even better news is that the proceeds will help raise funds for the new SCSC rib. If you have not been to a ‘Les Pres’ hog roast before then you must come to this one! It will be a very sociable evening and an opportunity for the whole family to make new friends and feel part of the St. Catherine’s Sailing Club Community. This weekend is the clubs annual open day and we would love to see you all and please bring your friends and family.  The club will be open from 12 to 4pm with racing for members at 2pm.  We will have bacon rolls on sale from 12 -2pm and tea and cake 2-4pm.

Centre Regional de Nautisme de Granville are coming to Jersey as part of the twinning between St Brelade and Granville,  aboard Marité. The club’s youth and juniors are invited to race against Granville – a leading sailing school in France. Racing will be for Optimist, Laser 4.7 & Laser Radial classes.
