Congratulations to the Jersey Jeux des Iles Sailing team made up exclusively of St. Catherine’s sailors. The Jeux des Iles has some of Europe’s very best optimist sailors racing so this is a very tough field to be competing in. We were all thrilled when the news came though that David Raimbault had won race 3 and was scoring single digit results, this is first time a Jersey sailor has won a Jeux des Iles race, and a very deserved 8th place overall.
The Jersey team is:
David Raimbault, William Holden, Elana St.George and Georgia Le Marquand.

Racing will start at 10.00 with two races back to back in the morning. We will break for a light lunch of summer salads, ham and vegetarian option courses followed by cheese and dessert. We are looking for volunteers to bring a cake for afternoon tea on Sunday. If you are able to bring a cake please let Alison know.
