Liberation Day Regatta – Amendment to Race Start Times

Due to tidal considerations races will be held back to back with the start time of the Beagle Open Handicap Race commencing as soon as possible after the finish of the Vega Pursuit Race and the Liberation Race likewise commencing as soon bouncy castle for sale as possible after the finish of the Beagle Open Handicap Race.  An amendment to the Sailing Instructions detailing this change has been posted under General Sailing Information on the club website.

Lunch will be served after racing has finished for the day.

Liberation Day Regatta

The Liberation Day regatta takes place on Thursday, 9th May.  The Vega pursuit race starts at 10:00, so please arrive at 9am.  And then the sailors will come ashore for lunch.

The House committee will be serving a lunch of Chicken kebabs, Vegetarian quiche, New Potatoes and House Salads, along with Apple tart and Ice cream.

£5 for Adults, £3 for Juniors.

Please Inflatable Water Slide sign up in advance at to help our catering, but of course all welcome on the day!

All donations of cakes and salads as always gratefully received.

After lunch, two more open handicap races will be held back to back.  First the Beagle, then the Liberation race.

We only run two pursuit races during the year and they are great fun, it may seem complicated at first but once you have started it is just great fun, please ask us at the club to explain the start sequence if you are unsure.

Barclays Boat Show 2019

We will be exhibiting at the Barclays Boat Show in St Helier over the bank holiday 4th – 6th May.  Come down to say hello and see our display which celebrates the sailing, racing and training that goes on at our club. You will also be able to view our plans to develop the clubhouse, complete with model.
