Saturday, 16 August, 10am – JUNIOR FUN REGATTA 

Sailors who completed a sailing course or private lessons with us this season and their parents are invited to come and have lots of fun. We’ll have a couple of fun sailing races, a rowing race, parents’ race and a fancy dress competition! Mums and Dads – we need your participation so be ready to have fun and possibly get wet!  It’s also an opportunity to collect any lost property! BBQ burgers / sausages available at the club house after the regatta, and it’s a great time to ask more questions about joining in club activities. Trophee des Isles 2024, Sat 23rd and Sun 24th August

Following a long-standing tradition between junior sailors from Jersey, Guernsey and St Malo, the “Trophée des Isles” is back over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with SCSC hosting an action packed 2-day racing and social event. This is often our juniors first “international” event and a great way to make new friends!

Fleets are; Optimist Regatta fleet (for Sailors new to racing), Optimist Main Fleet, Laser 4.7 and Radial (ILCA 4&6).

Carey Olsen Jersey Regatta – 12 to 14th September 

Details about this event are on the Jersey Regatta website (https://www.jerseyregatta.com) with racing for all classes of dinghies – from optimists to fast filing boats – in St Aubin’s Bay. One standalone race on Friday evening, and then three races on both Saturday and Sunday. Separate prizes for each day plus an overall prize. In addition, the CI Masters Champs will form part of this years regatta so double the fun!

The last course of the summer is specifically designed for Adults, Family groups and Teenagers to learn to sail .

With a fleet of dinghies including Optimists, Picos, Fevas and Omega, there is something for everyone.

The course starts on Monday 21st August and last for 4 days. You will be given specific tailored tuition to your level and needs depending on your experience , skill and learning style.

Wednesday evenings are for those young novices, level 1 and 2, where Thursday evening courses are for those wanting to get into racing, (level 3/4 sailors)

Junior summer courses start from July 24th for all levels, and an adult / family / teen Summer course in on 21st August.

If you would like to get on a course earlier and you are an Adult wanting to brush up your skills for racing, or just want to get on the water for the first time there is a preseason course from 12th to 16th June (5 days) tailored to parents with children at school. 9am to 2.30pm.
