Saturday, 16 August, 10am – JUNIOR FUN REGATTA <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sailors who completed a sailing course or private lessons with us this season and their parents are invited to come and have lots of fun. We\u2019ll have a couple of fun sailing races, a rowing race, parents’ race and a fancy dress competition! Mums and Dads – we need your participation so be ready to have fun and possibly get wet!  It’s also an opportunity to collect any lost property! BBQ burgers \/ sausages available at the club house after the regatta, and it’s a great time to ask more questions about joining in club activities. <\/strong>Trophee des Isles 2024, Sat 23rd and Sun 24th August<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a long-standing tradition between junior sailors from Jersey, Guernsey and St Malo, the “Troph\u00e9e des Isles” is back over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with SCSC hosting an action packed 2-day racing and social event. This is often our juniors first “international” event and a great way to make new friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fleets are; Optimist Regatta fleet (for Sailors new to racing), Optimist Main Fleet, Laser 4.7 and Radial (ILCA 4&6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carey Olsen Jersey Regatta – 12 to 14th September <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details about this event are on the Jersey Regatta website (https:\/\/www.jerseyregatta.com<\/a>) with racing for all classes of dinghies – from optimists to fast filing boats – in St Aubin’s Bay. One standalone race on Friday evening, and then three races on both Saturday and Sunday. Separate prizes for each day plus an overall prize. In addition, the CI Masters Champs will form part of this years regatta so double the fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
