TITLE: Race Organisation & Management Session on 12 March at 11.00h<\/p>\n

The SCSC Sailing Committee would like to invite all members assigned to organising and preparing races in the 2017 calendar to a session on race Organisation and Management.<\/p>\n

This short session will last 1-2h and is designed to share best practices and respond to questions regarding the organisation & management of races<\/p>\n

Key topics will include…<\/p>\n

– Using Dutyman to consult and change your assignments to the 2017 sailing calendar<\/p>\n

– Explain the main roles in race management<\/p>\n

– The Race Officer kit bag<\/p>\n

– Setup of the race course<\/p>\n

– Signals and sounds – The flags and signals guide & a live example of the team in action<\/p>\n

This session is also open to anyone interested in race management but not currently assigned to roles on duty man<\/p>\n

This will be held on the SCSC clubhouse and light refreshments will be available,<\/p>\n
