{"id":3082,"date":"2016-08-02T21:07:41","date_gmt":"2016-08-02T20:07:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scsc.org.je\/?p=3082"},"modified":"2023-01-06T01:47:44","modified_gmt":"2023-01-06T01:47:44","slug":"thursday-racing-and-class-champs-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scsc.org.je\/?p=3082","title":{"rendered":"Thursday racing and Class champs Sunday&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bronze, Silver &amp; Gold Races<\/strong><br \/>\nThis Thursday 4th heralds the start of a new format for our summer evening races, giving everyone a chance to race and win!<br \/>\nAlthough the start at 7pm will include all dinghies, we are splitting the results into three fleets.<br \/>\n<strong>Gold fleet<\/strong> racers will be experienced sailors and past trophy winners, with the <strong>Silver fleet<\/strong> made up of those who have some previous experience of racing.<br \/>\n<strong>The Bronze fleet<\/strong> is specifically for novices and first time racers, so come and have a go!<br \/>\nA member of the Sailing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.east-inflatables.co.uk\/e104-inflatable-water-slide.html\">Inflatable Water Slide<\/a> Committee will be on hand from 5pm to give advice and assistance if you need reassurance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class Championships 2016<\/strong><br \/>\nOur annual Class Championship Regatta this Sunday 7th will consist of three races back to back, starting promptly at 10am.<br \/>\nIf you sail a popular class of dinghy at the Club, please join in, to race boat for boat and boost the fleet numbers.<br \/>\nA \u2018Remnants&#8217; class will also be factored in, using the PY handicap system, so that no-one is left ashore!<\/p>\n<p>Lunch will be an informal <strong>bring your own BBQ<\/strong> so please bring your own snorkers, \u00a0buns and burgers and grill away!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bronze, Silver &amp; Gold Races This Thursday 4th heralds the start of a new format for our summer evening races, giving everyone a chance to race and win!
