A reminder that Bart’s Bash 2 is 11:00 a.m. Sunday 20th September. Perhaps you were involved last year when 47 boats signed up at St catherines\u00a0and were part of the worlds\u00a0largest ever sailing race? There were 30,734 sailors worldwide and 100’s\u00a0of clubs.\u00a0It was a tremendous atmosphere.
\nWe are planning\u00a0for another great day with an\u00a0emphasis on fun and participation, we want\u00a0as\u00a0many people\u00a0out on the water and involved in this inspirational event as possible.\u00a0Its a race too, but to be honest that’s\u00a0secondary on this special day in the sailing calandar. So even if you don’t sail that regularly or are a relative novice\u00a0try to make an effort for this one, as that’s what the day is all about.<\/p>\n

So sign-up now\u00a0and lets put SCSC well and truly\u00a0on the world sailing map again. There will be\u00a0lunch after\u00a0sailing (with a\u00a0modest charge)\u00a0so we can celebrate our achievements of the morning. An opportunity also to\u00a0raise funds for the Andrew Simpson Sailing Trust which is focused on\u00a0encouraging young people to get involved in the wonderful sport of\u00a0sailing.<\/p>\n
