A big thank you to all those who have helped so far prepare for the Island Games. Still much to do\u2026.<\/p>\n

All 52 new \u00a0sails have had \u00a0numbers, sponsors \u00a0and stickers carefully \u00a0applied \u00a0ready for the \u00a0\u00a0 competition.<\/p>\n

Constable Pallot Inflatable Water Slide<\/a> and the team at the Parish Hall \u00a0of St Brelade were able to offer the use of\u00a0 their hall: For two days the hall took on the role of a sail loft. A team of volunteers \u00a0worked solidly and the task was achieved.<\/p>\n

All \u00a0the 26 new lasers ( Each with standard and radial rig) have been unpacked and moved to the Fort<\/p>\n

The event will be a major logistical exercise with start boats, rescue boats, onshore support and transport to and from the Fort all being provided.<\/p>\n

Help is needed from 2pm on \u00a0Sat 20th<\/sup> June at St Aubins Fort to finally \u00a0assemble boats and make the site a welcoming place. Just turn up even if just to support and see the site!<\/p>\n

The sailing venue at St Aubin\u2019s Fort is taking shape. \u00a0Twenty six brand new laser dinghies await the arrival of the competing sailors. All that is needed now is fair winds!<\/p>\n

The sailing event will take place in St Aubin\u2019s Bay from Sun 28th<\/sup> June to Thurs 2nd<\/sup> July with results and coverage streamed onto screens onshore.<\/p>\n
