{"id":2681,"date":"2015-04-12T21:18:33","date_gmt":"2015-04-12T20:18:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scsc.org.je\/?p=2681"},"modified":"2018-08-21T04:50:31","modified_gmt":"2018-08-21T03:50:31","slug":"april-2015-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scsc.org.je\/?p=2681","title":{"rendered":"April 2015 News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Island Games Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many congratulations to the recently selected Island games team.<\/p>\n<p>Laser Standard &#8211; George Moisan, Dylan Griffiths, with Joel Lucas as reserve<br \/>\nLaser \u00a0&#8211; David Raimbault, Nick Ellison, with Lily Carter as reserve<\/p>\n<p><strong>RCIYC Spring Regatta<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here is the NOR and entry\u00a0form for the Spring Regatta on 25th \/ 26th April<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/scsc.us9.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=11398583f63199d640a0f8b6b&amp;id=bd81735fe4&amp;e=10adee278e\">http:\/\/rciycjersey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Spring-Regatta-NoR-2015.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There will hopefully\u00a0be a great\u00a0turn out of dinghies from St Catherine&#8217;s for some excellent racing.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not sailing please\u00a0consider helping with\u00a0the RIBS or launching. The dinghy fleet will launch and recover from the RCIYC and help is needed as follows;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 people per day to drive and crew our two RIBS (TC &amp; BJP), drivers must hold RYA PB2 qualification<\/li>\n<li>2 people per day to run the slipway including signing in and out sailors as they launch and recover.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Races begin at approximately 12:00 each day so you will need to be available from around 10:30 with an expected finish time of about 16:30. If you can help then please contact Will Carnegie\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:will@willcarnegie.com\">will@willcarnegie.com<\/a>.\u00a0Places will be allocated initially to those with children afloat and then on a first come first served basis<\/p>\n<p><strong>RIB naming competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a name for our\u00a04 metre\u00a0RIB, which will be launched soon. This is great for the club as it\u00a0will bring the RIB fleet up to full strength\u00a0as we prepare for another busy season.<\/p>\n<p>The naming competition is open to all U18&#8217;s and\u00a0a \u00a320 Gul voucher will be\u00a0awarded to the winner.\u00a0Please e-mail\u00a0Will Carnegie by latest Saturday 18th April\u00a0at\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:will@willcarnegie.com\">will@willcarnegie.com<\/a>\u00a0with your ideas<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Island Games Team Many congratulations to the recently selected Island games team.
