Having fun in the sun at St. Cath’s<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Saturday 24th May from 2 pm to 5 pm is our first Friends and Family open day. Please try to think of a few people you know that may like to find out about
\nSt Catherine\u2019s and what we get up to, then invite them along, simple! By contacting them directly and perhaps sending them the club invite<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 It will be fantastic if as a direct result of the day we can encourage more people to\u00a0 get involved with the club and start sailing.<\/p>\n

The format for the afternoon will be very informal and it \"Friends<\/a>will be fine if people just want to drop in for a while. We hope there will be as many club members as possible\u00a0 on hand to enthuse about St Catherine\u2019s. There will be food on sale, probably burgers, hot dogs, cakes, tea and coffees.\u00a0 Membership forms<\/a> and information will be available. Perhaps some sailing gear for sale as well. Weather permitting we hope to organise some short RIB rides, you may also want to take your friends or family for a quick sail. We\u2019ll also get boats rigged up on display to show people the training fleet.\u00a0 Also feel free if you want to put a boat on display for sale as well, as open day is always a good chance to do this!<\/p>\n

To give an approximate idea of numbers for planning it would be appreciated if you could e-mail Paul Raimbault<\/a> to say if you think you make it, plus include an estimated number of any guests\u00a0 if you have invited some. Though obviously feel free to come down anyway (even if with no guests) as the more the merry in terms of making the club feel welcoming.<\/p>\n
