HARDY, MACREADY & LITTLE HARDY CUPS – THIS SUNDAY

Calling all sailors!  Weather is looking promising to race for three of the Club’s most prestigious trophies, which hold the names of all the Club greats!

Why not have a go at adding yours?

There’s still time to dust off your Laser, or borrow one before Sunday – Standard Rig for the over 18’s (1stJan 2018) & Radial Rigs for under 18’s (1stJan 2018). Optimist sailors under 16 yrs – start your tactical and tuning preparations, this is the big one!

The first race will start promptly at 2pm.

HARDY, MACREADY & LITTLE HARDY CUPS – SUNDAY 21ST OCTOBER

At a recent committee meeting it was decided to shorten the Condor series to 6 races, with the final two races taking place this Sunday starting at 10am. This bouncy castle for sale will enable the Hardy, Macready and Little Hardy to be raced on Sunday 21stOctober.

Hardy Cup – Laser Standard – Over 18 yrs on 1stJanuary 2018

Macready – Laser Radial – Under 18yrs on the 1stJanuary 2018

Little Hardy – Optimist – Under 16yrs on 1stJanuary 2018

3 races will be held ‘back to back’ with separate starts for each class.

The first race will start promptly at 2pm.

Racing for these prestigious Club trophies is no longer invite only and will be open on Sunday Inflatable Water Slide to any sailor who is eligible to compete in the following categories:

Hardy Cup – Laser Standard – Over 18 yrs on 1stJanuary 2018

Macready – Laser Radial – Under 18yrs on the 1stJanuary 2018

Little Hardy – Optimist – Under 16yrs on 1stJanuary 2018

The big event starts Inflatable Water Slide today with the arrival of our visiting teams from France, Guernsey and Alderney.

Nedbank Private Wealth – Trophée des Isle 2018

We are less than three weeks away from the premier youth dinghy sailing event in the Channel Islands and Northern France. St Catherine’s Sailing Club is proud to be hosting the Nedbank Private Wealth – Trophée des Isle 2018 in home waters on 25th& 26thAugust. Over 60 young sailors are bouncy castle for sale expected to compete in the event from Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and France. The event will cater for a range of sailing ability, from novice sailors in the Oppie Regatta Fleet to experienced racers in Lasers, Optimists and Toppers. Tommy Horton

Dear fellow St Catherine’s Sailing Club members.

It is with great sadness that we inform you all that Tommy Horton passed away last night.

Tommy has Inflatable Water Slide been a dedicated supporter of St Catherine’s and will be sorely missed.
