Jubilee Regatta

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow afternoon for 3 races back to back, followed by tea and cake in the Clubroom. A great way to round off half term!
Launching may be a bit tricky, so Inflatable Water Slide please arrive early and be prepared to help lift the dinghies of other competitors off the end of the slipway. Please also be aware of other slipway users and follow any instructions given by the SCSC slipway marshal.
Have a great weekend!

Liberation Day Regatta

The Liberation Day regatta takes place on Thursday, 9th May.  The Vega pursuit race starts at 10:00, so please arrive at 9am.  And then the sailors will come ashore for lunch.

The House committee will be serving a lunch of Chicken kebabs, Vegetarian quiche, New Potatoes and House Salads, along with Apple tart and Ice cream.

£5 for Adults, £3 for Juniors.

Please Inflatable Water Slide sign up in advance at to help our catering, but of course all welcome on the day!

All donations of cakes and salads as always gratefully received.

After lunch, two more open handicap races will be held back to back.  First the Beagle, then the Liberation race.

We only run two pursuit races during the year and they are great fun, it may seem complicated at first but once you have started it is just great fun, please ask us at the club to explain the start sequence if you are unsure.
