We are delighted to announce a return to some sailing activity at the club after some long and wet winter aire de jeux gonflable months. In compliance with the recently announced Government COVID Guidelines the following plan has been created to facilitate our return to sailing for Under 18’s from Wednesday 17th February and those 18 years and over from Monday 8th March.

Notice is hereby given for the 2020 St Catherine’s Sailing Club Annual General Meeting to be held on Sunday 29th November at 15:00 hrs.
Due to the current COVID-19 guidelines, this year’s AGM will take place in the Westward Room at St Helier Yacht Club with numbers being limited to 15 attendees. Members will be parcours obstacle gonflable able to sign up for available spaces using Webcollect. The meeting will also be accessible online via Zoom.
Any items for the Agenda should be sent via email to the Club, 8 days in advance of the event.
Winter Training is due to start on Saturday 7th November. Due to the increase in the spread of the structure gonflable coronavirus on Island, particularly with evidence of positive cases at several Island schools and sports clubs, the Committee have decided that it will be in best interests of everyone to return to some of the previous guidance measures adopted earlier this year. Isolation and Testing Requirements All travellers into Jersey are required to isolate upon arrival. The highest risk zone a traveller has stayed in, even for one night, within the fortnight before travel sets the following aufblasbarer park isolation and testing requirements:
Travel from a Green Zone + SCSC Rules
Test on arrival at the airport or harbour.
Second test on day five
Please do not participate in a Club sailing event or visit the Clubhouse until you have received confirmation of a negative result for BOTH tests. This will include all members of your household if a household member is awaiting test results.

Test on arrival at the airport or harbour.
Second test on day five.
You must isolate until receiving two negative tests.
Please do not participate in a Club sailing event or visit the Clubhouse until you have received confirmation of a negative result for both tests. This will include all members of your household if a household member is isolating in that home.
Travel from a Red Zone+ SCSC Rules
Test on day zero and you must isolate for two weeks regardless whether the initial test result is negative.
Please do not participate in a Club sailing event or visit the Clubhouse until your two week isolation period has been completed. This will include all members of your household if a family member is isolating in that home.
In preparation for tighter track and trace requirements could any adults who now have young family members with phones set them up with their own logins on webcollect. This will help us with the webcollect registration list as it will hüpfburg kinder show them under their own names.
In addition we will have a QR scan code on the club front door similar to bars and restaurants. We would ask anyone who has not registered on webcollect for that day eg parents and race team to scan the code with their phone camera and register their presence on the day.
It’s hopefully looking like a Northerly Force 4 with some sun for the three races of the hüpfburg Condor Series tomorrow, but be prepared for a chilly morning on the water!

This is a polite reminder that all double handed dinghies should be crewed by individuals from the same family or household, regardless of age, under the castillo hinchable current Government Guidelines for the early stages of level 1.
