I reced this from St Aubin Boat Owners Associtation and thought members could keep a lookout too regards - Nicki Heath
"On Sunday 8th August at 1000 while parking our car, our Honda 2.3HP Outboard was stolen from the slipway at the Fishermans Chapel. It was left for less than 5 minutes with other equipment (which was un touched). Like many of you we run a small business so this really stings....As you are all in the right circles I would be very grateful if you could forward this e mail to all clubmembers. I suspect we will not see it again but my hope is that the thieves will not be able to move it on. It was reported to the police.
Thank you in anticipation of your help".

We have finally published Sailing Instructions for 2010. We are aware that this is late in the season but it is better to publish these late than not at all. In general nothing has changed since the 2006 SIs, for the most part alterations are a clarification and tidying up. Prizes and events have been aligned with the current program, we have rationalised the definition of ages and we have added an explanation on the way we will deal with handicaps which was missing from the previous SIs.
The only significant change, we hope not too significant a change, relates to qualification for Hardy, Mcready and Little Hardy. This has been a surprisingly complicated issue to resolve, has been the subject to much discussion and is part of the reason we have been so late in publishing the SIs. There were some difficulties with the previous qualification criteria which we wanted to overcome with minimum change to the intention of the previous SIs. There is no ideal solution but what we have now published has been very carefully considered and we are confident is the least problematic of the options available to us.
