2008 SCSC Training Information Level1 and level 2 Training
This year we shall be holding two Level 1 and 2 courses. These will start the week commencing June 2nd and will be a six week course. The course will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on either a Monday or Tuesday night. The cost will be £60. Children must be in Year 3 (i.e. be 8 years before 31st August 2008) or older. Numbers will be limited.
Level 3
This course is aimed at all our young sailors who have done a beginners course at St Catherine’s or done RYA level 1 or 2 elsewhere. This course will be held on a Wednesday pm from 6pm to 8pm and commences on June 4th . Course price is £60. Numbers Limited.
Race Training/level 4
This course is held on a Thursday evening. The aim of this course is to provide race tuition in order to show you how to race. There is then the opportunity at the end of each lesson to put it in practice by joining in with the club evening race. This course starts at 4.30pm –6.30pm , with the evening race starting at 7pm if you wish to stay on and race. Course fee is £60.
With the above four courses please note that where the start time is given it is hoped that you will be ready to go afloat at that time!
Sunday Training
As well as our weekend in June there are two further sunday training sessions scheduled. This is open to all levels except beginner. etc. These sessions will start at 10am and be finished at 2pm. This course is free to members but I would ask that you return the form indicating that you will be attending.
