During the weekend of 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March Chris Simon will be in the Island to run various Race Management courses which are open to all the islands Yacht clubs and SCSC. The provisional program is:-
Friday evening a talk of about 1 1/2 hours on the new RRS,
this should be of interest to all racing sailors.
Saturday morning 3-4 hour course on Rules Advisor training.
This is connected with running arbitration hearings (a quicker simpler
approach to protest hearings).
Sunday 09:00 to 17:00 Club Race Officer course. This will be
both a refresher to those who have already done the Club Race Officer
course and an introduction for those who have not.
All these courses will be FoC.

The Annual Boxing Day Sail will start at 11AM, mince trampoline for water pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate will be served from 11AM so come down to the club and get some freash air and cheer on the brave sailors working off their Christmas dinners!!

New Rib Fund Raising
On Sunday 2nd Dec at 10AM we will be laying up the club boats and putting gear and equipment away for the winter and leaving boats, Club and ribs all secure. Many hands will make light work. If you could email to let us know if you are able to attend would be helpful, otherwise we will see you at the club. It is trampoline for water recommended that old clothes are worn and tool kits would be appreciated. Some of the work includes:
- Bench seats under cover
- Greasing moving parts on ribs and putting covers on
- Taking down masts on the Fevas
- Moving all masts, foils, sails from Picos and Fevas to the loft
- Turning boats over
- Clearing inside of Club – fridge etc
- Clearing lost property
- Taking wheels off trailers and putting in store
- Tieing down oppis

Sorry for the delay but here at last is the trampoline for water official Children’s Menu – price only £10 per head. Should your child want to eat from the Adult menu a very special rate of £10 for one course – or £12.50 for two courses has been negotiated. It’s £30 for Adults for a delicious 4 course meal & then coffee/tea.
Please complete the attached booking form to select your food & to indicate who you would like to sit on a table with – we can make up tables of 8 – 10 people.
If you are new to the Club don’t worry we can put you on a table with some lovely friendly members who will make sure you feel at home!
You will notice on the menu there is not a vegetarian option as such – I have spoken to the hotel & any vegetarians, as long as they let me know in advance can book from a variety of delicious options on the night.
