The biggest sailing event in the world-Bart’s Bash 2017-SCSC event- Saturday 23 September 11.00h

Join us on this fun day at SCSC, open to all boats (even boards) ages and  levels with briefing at 1030 and start at 1100 for a short and fun course

The SCSC will then submit the results and you can see how you ranked against sailors in 582 events being held in 77 countries

Bart’s Bash gives the sailing community a united opportunity to remember Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson, a double Olympic medallist who tragically lost his life whilst training for the America’s Cup in 2013 and raise funds for  Andrew Simpson Foundation (ASF)

Open to all sailing clubs, yacht clubs, scout groups, sea cadets, windsurfing clubs, individuals and any venue globally that can host a race and is inspired to take part

The event was founded in 2014 and verified by Guinness World Records as ‘The Largest Sailing Race in the World’.
